Riley closed out the season with 14 hits in 59 at bats, finishing up with six RBI his sophomore season. Against one of the Big West Conference's top teams, No. 13 Cal State Fullerton, Allen delivered when asked of him as a pinch hitter. Against both Cal State Fullerton (May 1) and Santa Clara (April 28), Riley went 1-for-1 at the plate as a pinch hitter. Riley tallied four multiple hit games in 2010, with two hits, one double and one RBI on two separate occasions against San Francisco (Feb. 20) and Seattle (Mar. 4).</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>2009 (Freshman):</strong><br /> In his first year with the Tigers, Allen provided a power bat and an arm in the outfield as he notched seven starts in the field or as Pacific's designated hitter. He finished his freshman campaign hitting just below .300, as Riley recorded a .289 season batting average. In Big West play, Riley led the team for the beginning of the season and then finished hitting .471 in conference. His best outing of the year came against No. 16 Cal Poly on April 9 and 10 when he went 2-for-2 as a pinch hitter in both contests. In the second game against the Mustangs, Riley came off the bench and immediately contributed, notching the game-winning RBI as Pacific went on to upset Cal Poly 5-4. Allen finished the year with seven RBI and 11 hits in 18 games for the Tigers.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>High School:</strong><br /> Riley was a four-year letter winner of the Edison HS baseball team and graduated in 2008. His first two years with the Tigers, Allen received Second Team All-League honors in the County/Metro Athletic Conference. As an upperclassmen, he repeated First Team All-C/MAC in 2007 and 2008. His senior season, Allen went an impressive .425 at the plate with eight home runs, 10 doubles, three triples and 27 RBI. Academically, he was named a scholastic athlete his junior and senior seasons.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Personal:</strong><br /> Allen Riley was born in Fresno, Calif., and is the son of Sheila Dickson and Albert Riley. He has five siblings, Alberta (36), Albert (36), Akida Williams (33), Mya Chambers (33) and James Williams (27). In his spare time, Allen enjoys watching movies, sleeping and spending time with his friends. He is a sports management major in his third year at Pacific with career aspirations of becoming an athletic director or a baseball agent.</p>
